Trenchcoat pipe

Trenchcoat pipe

Modern continuous galvanising techniques ensure that our drainage pipes and stormwater tanks are highly durable. To begin with, they are all manufactured to Highways Agency Standard BD12, which requires a design life of 120 years.

For aggressive and very aggressive environments, our pipes and tanks can be finished with a choice of coatings of Trenchcoat polymer. This gives a product with the unique strength of steel and the durability of polyethylene – an unbeatable combination. Trenchcoat secondary coatings (seen black in our photo gallery) are applied to both sides of a pipe and will add at least another 60 years to the system's service life.
