Bolted plate

Our bolted plate is a corrugated galvanised steel construction system used primarily for culverts, pedestrian underpasses, quarry and stockpile tunnels and bridges.

Bolted plate consists of various width, curved steel sheets of varying profiles, lengths and thicknesses that are bolted together to form durable structures in the shape of a full round pipe, an arch, a horizontal elliptical pipe, a pipe-arch or underpass. It is typically used for diameters of over 3.6m where high loadbearing capacity is required.

Available in spans/diameters up to 12m, our bolted plate systems offer definite advantages over concrete structures because of their strength to weight ratio, resistance to breakage, immunity to damage by fire and frost, ease of installation and adaptability to changing conditions.
